Episode 14: Hansel and Gretel

Download Here

Angie and Bethany talk about the movie Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters and then, towards the end, wander completely off-topic. Who's surprised?

  1. There was a comment by fanboy about the porridge he made being just right. So either Goldilocks is a known fairytale in that world, or Goldilocks is running around as well. I prefer to think it's the latter and that means Rose Red and Snow White are also wandering around cutting a dwarf's beard, as well as other miscellaneous fairytale characters.

    1. Oh yeah, you're right! I really hope that comes up in subsequent movies, somehow. :D

  2. Man, I'm kinda ticked now that I didn't get the chance to see this movie, because it JUST left all of our local theaters. Stupid real life stuff getting in the way. Because I absolutely LOVE The Brothers Grimm and H&G felt like the even more fun "We're not taking this seriously" version of that.

(I did see Jack the Giant Slayer. I...no. There's some good visual puns, and I like how the last five minutes are basically showing how the story changed to what we know it as but...No. It's not really worth seeing, it's boring.)

    1. Yeah, it's still in theaters here but, like, barely. Life happens, though, maybe you can catch it in a dollar theater or rent the dvd or something- it's definitely in a similar vein to The Brothers Grimm, and it was a very fun movie IMO. Worth watching, if that's your taste. :D
